Free sandwich is hiding in KFC’s ad

KFC debuted a new TV ad Thursday that allows viewers to crack a hidden message if they play the spot back slowly on a digital video recorder or VCR.

This is a much better way to combat ad-skipping technology than spouting, “if you don’t watch the ads, it’s like you’re stealing the programming.” or trying to buy some legislative protection.

KFC is giving people a compelling reason to watch their ads. Good for them!
